Come along with “Join the Chat” hosts Janet, Cindy, & Molly for a ladies day away.  You’ll laugh, enjoy delightful food, and get some shopping therapy!

 

8:00 AM        Depart Peoria from Evergreen Square parking lot, 801 W. Lake Ave., in front of the old Berean Bookstore.

8:25 AM        Depart Morton from Wal Mart’s parking lot behind Culvers.  We will have Coffee & Scones* on the ride to Godfrey.  We’ll also play some fun games complete with prizes!

11:00 AM       We arrive at Josephine’s Tea Room where you’ll take a seat in the dining room.  What started as a small gift shop in 1979, has grown to 3 tea rooms, Monticello House Clothing Boutique, the main gift shop and their sale house – Fred’s Shed.  It’s a unique blend of antiques, fashionable gifts and clothing, purses, shoes, and jewelry.  Lunch is on your own today but there are choices of soups, salads, sandwiches (vegan & gluten-free options) and over 16 scrumptious DESSERTS!  The cost for lunch ranges between $25 - $30 including dessert & tip.

 3:00 PM         It’s time to say “goodbye” to this sweet place and depart for home.

 6:15 PM         Drop off time in Morton.

 6:40 PM         Drop off time in Peoria.
